Being Confident Of This Very Thing

Let’s face it….we’re all human beings, we all make mistakes, and we will be in this flesh until the day the Lord takes us home.

With that in mind, once in a while we tend to stick our foot in our mouth (as the saying goes), we may offend one of our friends, relatives, kids, neighbor, loved one or spouse.  Thick headed as we creatures are, often we want to brush it under the rug, forget about it, ignore it or even deny our offense.

But to be Christian minded, I find two scriptures
that go hand in hand as the scripture teaches us:

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another,
even as God for Christ’s sake
hath forgiven you.
(Ephesians 4:32)

Being confident
of this very thing,
that he which hath
begun a good work in you
will perform it until
the day of Jesus Christ
(Philippians 1:6)

So may we all try to press forward >>> to confess, forgive and forget even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven us.  Love one another with a pure heart and life will be much sweeter.
